TriThrift is a registered 501C3 organization that supports nonprofits that provide athletic opportunities to people with physical challenges from the money we make selling discounted gear and equipment.
TRI THRIFTCommunity Bikes is a reuse and repair training program operated by LITE Initiatives. The generosity of local donors means great bikes and accessories are often available.
COMMUNITY BIKESBrick & Bloom was founded on a simple truth: Triathlon is for every body.
In the shadow of elite triathlon culture, many athletes—particularly women and minorities—feel there isn't space for them. We are here to support more people starting in the sport.
We focus on the Brick of rewarding training and the Bloom personal growth that follows. This is a Santa Rosa community collective designed to lower the barrier to entry.
No gatekeeping. No dues. Just movement.
Brick & Bloom was started by Lauren after experiencing the gap in triathlon resources in Santa Rosa preparing for her first triathlon.
She is a second-generation single mom who turned to triathlon during a difficult chapter. Like her mother, Lauren found the challenge empowering and regulating at times when other outlets didn't work.
As she sought out a community to bridge the gap between starting out and seeking coaching, she realized the post-COVID landscape for local triathlon clubs was non-existent.
Through discovering inexpensive gear resource, local clubs, and low-cost outings, she realized that others were looking for this same sense of community.
Brick & Bloom is aimed to help you start. Everyone is welcome. Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.
